Just Hold on Until Tomorrow

2nd Chronicles 20:14-17, 21-22

14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation;

15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

16 Tomorrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.

17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth forever.

22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

I know that you may be feeling like you are in the middle of a war zone. It seems like everywhere that you turn there is an enemy, whether that of the body, mind or spirit. No matter which way you turn it seems like the attacks keep coming. You Love God, you’re doing your best to serve God, live right, reading your bible, praying, going to church, paying your tithes, sowing but you’re in the fight of your life without visible relief in sight. You engage one enemy and think maybe your making some progress then suddenly you look, and the enemy has reinforcements and comes on even stronger. But I want to encourage you, don’t lose heart, JUST HOLD ON UNTIL TOMORROW!

Some of your enemies are financial trouble, health problems, family problems, attacks on your character, attacks on your ministry, and the worst part of it all is, it’s all happening at once. It seems like you are in a war zone suffering devastation, desolation and destruction. It’s like a domino effect, soon as you conquer one thing another enemy shows its ugly head. But you must encourage yourself that even though it looks like you’re in a night season, JUST HOLD ON UNTIL TOMORROW!

God gives Jehoshaphat and his people inside intelligence on the moves of the enemy and march forward. Just like he did for the children of Israel. God is the God of an encore; He is the same God of the red sea experience. When you are in the middle of a battle, I challenge you to reflect on the victories that God has already given you. He is the same God!!!!

You will not need to fight in this battle!!! God got this one. You just need to follow instructions, align with His Will for your life and let God work. I know it looks dim, but God is working but you must trust him!

We quote it all the time – “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy come in the morning” Morning is a moment in time designate by God for your release. Tomorrow is a moment in time dedicate for your victory. What are you going to do until tomorrow morning comes – JUST HOLD ON!

You must learn how to encourage yourself. I know you need healing, deliverance, freedom, peace, joy, restoration. JUST HOLD ON UNTIL TOMORROW! When King Jehoshaphat followed God's instructions, the people began to sing and to praise and didn't have to lift a finger!!! God fought for them and gave them the victory.

My tomorrow is almost here…

Sing it with me “Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I love you Tomorrow, you’re only a day a way!!!”
